For more than 30 years, ProTeam has designed vacuums with durability and quality in mind. These vacuums are low maintenance, long lasting, and feature meticulous workmanship and the finest materials available.
ProTeam offers a complete line of commercial vacuum cleaners including: canisters, uprights, backpacks, air movers, and wet/dry vacs for every industry.
The ProForce 1500XP is a compact, lightweight vacuum, designed with commercial and residential cleaning professionals in mind. This upright is built to withstand the tough cleaning conditions of hotels, resorts, offices, schools, and more. The high-performance dual motor creates powerful suction for effective soil removal and improved indoor air quality. The 15-inch wide, low-profile cleaning head easily moves across different types of floors and under furniture, without having to bend.
No Awkward Moves. No Loss of Suction
The unique, 15-inch wide, L-shaped, low-profile cleaner head is perfect for cleaning under and around furniture. The large rubberized wheels allow for smooth movement and maneuverability over carpets and hard floors without losing suction.
The 5-foot flexible hose with attached wand provides up to 7 feet of reach, and lets you clean above-the-floor areas such as stairs, furniture, vents. The included combo dust/upholstery brush and crevice tool work perfectly for detail cleaning, and the integrated on-board storage keeps the tools close at hand while you’re vacuuming. Our ProForce upright is designed to be used for dry pickup only. DO NOT vacuum flammable or combustible materials or anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes. Other types of atypical debris may cause issues or clogs in the vacuum.
Powerful Dual-Motor for Better Soil Removal
The ProTeam ProForce 1500XP bagged upright vacuum provides exceptional cleaning in a high-filtration upright to improve reach, durability, and soil removal. The high-performance 924-watt, 10-amp dual motor system maintains power to both the brush roller and the suction motor to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. The brush roller is made of wood with nylon bristles. Low to medium pile carpet and hard surfaces can be vacuumed with the ProForce. It has a dual motor system that allows for vacuuming without the brush roll on hard surfaces to prevent scratching.
The ProForce vacuum has 2 motors; one for the main vacuum and one motor for the brush roll. Please note the on/off switch has 3 available positions. I = Vacuum Motor, O = Off, II = Brush roll and main vacuum motor on. It is possible to have the vacuum on without the brush roll for vacuuming easily scratched flooring.
ProLevel Filtration with Three Levels of Filtration to Trap Dust and Allergens
Dust mites, pet hair, dead skin cells, pollen, mold and bacteria could be lurking inside your home or office and causing allergies. ProLevel Filtration System with HEPA Media captures and contains 97.33% of allergens and asthma triggers .3-.5 microns per ASTM 3150 to improve indoor air quality.
The American Lung Association and ProTeam are partners in a national program to educate the public about the benefits of indoor air quality and ways to promote lung health. The American Lung Association does not endorse product, device or service.
What do I do if I have reduced suction or suspect a clog in my ProForce 1200XP or 1500XP?
1. Disconnect the lower air duct hose on the back of the power nozzle. Visually check the lower air duct hose for debris and remove.
2. To check for unobstructed air flow, turn on vacuum and place hand over opening on lower air duct. If you feel proper suction, resume vacuuming, otherwise proceed with step 3.
3. With bottom air duct hose and upper hose and wand disconnected, carefully insert a broom handle (or any similar item) into wand on top of vacuum housing to dislodge obstruction or debris. Debris should then drop or move into the lower air duct hose where you can then remove it.
Obstructions such as hair, string, and throw rugs may cause the belt to dislocate and the power nozzle to shut off. Reduced suction can be caused by a clog in the vacuum and/or dirty filters. We recommend watching our Upright Vacuum Maintenance video on our YouTube channel.
Why does this vacuum have a reset button?
The upright vacuum is designed to require a reset after a clog or if the brush roll has been jammed. If you need to reset your vacuum frequently it could mean you have a clog or something is blocking the movement of your brush roll. This feature of the vacuum keeps damage from occurring to your brush roll motor or brush roll when there is an obstruction and helps to prolong the lifespan of your vacuum.
What to do if I'm having brush roll issues?
1. The brush roll will only work in switch II. Plug vacuum in, Take vacuum out of park position, and turn on position II.
2. The brush roll belt may be disengaged from the vacuum or the belt may be worn out. Please check the integrity of the belt by removing power nozzle cover.
4. Wand assembly not fully seated into the receptacle. If wand is not fully inserted into the wand receptacle, brush roll will not work.
5. There may be blockage or debris and tangled hair stuck in the brush roll. Make sure that brush roll is clear to spin freely.
6. Reset switch has been tripped. Make sure to press the red reset button located in the vacuum power nozzle then unplug the vacuum from the outlet, plug it back in and it should work.
What should I do if I'm having issues with the latch?
In order to close the filter cover, the hole in the carry handle must be aligned to the hole in the handle tube, with hardware completely installed. We have an instructional video available on our YouTube channel titled "ProTeam Tutorial: Upright Preparing for Operation that describes how to assemble the ProForce upright vacuum. It does show an older model but explains how the carry handle should be lined up.
